Aluminum alloy 6351 is Al-Mg alloy and it has good workability and corrosion resistance and is readily weldable by all methods. 6351 aluminum alloy has high strength in 6xxx series alloy, which is higher than in 6061, but lower than 6082 alloys. For example, 6351-t6 requires a minimum tensile strength of 295Mpa and good extrusion formability. 6351 is the aluminum material in temper T6 is well finished，it offers excellent mechanical properties as well as reasonable corrosion resistance. Grade 6351-T6 for gas cylinder conforms to ASTM B221, ASTM B241, ASTM B429, and etc.
