Hastelloy C276 （UNS N10276）is a type of wrought nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with the addition of Tungsten. offers good resistance to oxidizing and moderate reducing corrosion. At the same time, it has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good resistance to local corrosion. It has satisfactory corrosion resistance in many chemical process media, including highly etched inorganic acid solution, chlorine gas and chlorinated various media, dry chlorine gas, formic acid and acetic acid, seawater and brine, etc. C-276 alloy tube is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of wet chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution.
