Titanium Grade2 (UNS R50400) is the most widely used application in commercially pure(CP) titanium family. The density of Gr2’s Titanium is approximately 50% that of nickel alloys, it offers an excellent balance of moderate strength and reasonable ductility. Specified in ASTM B337 (withdrawn), B338, B861, SAE AMS 4942, 4943, Grade2 titanium seamless pipe and tube is ideal for corrosion resistance in the chemical, offshore and aircraft industries where a certain strength level and formability is desired.
