Uniform rolled Steel (RHA, also known as' Armor Steel ') a term used especially for 4340 Steel plates with a hardness between 250 and 390 BHN, and for casting or rolling thick Armor plates. Specified in ASTM A829, 4340 steel includes nickel for higher overall hardness and superb through hardening. 4340 steel plates are designed for a wide variety of military specifications and structural uses, combat and defense applications. The defensive properties of steel (Armor and ballistic steel)plate are usually compared with those of uniformly rolled steel.
