Mitered elbow/bend is a type of commonly used pipe fittings. It’s simple to manufacture, less usage and higher precision than the traditional pipe/plate welding elbow. Common materials are carbon steel and stainless steel. A Miter bend is a steel elbow which is made by cutting pipe ends at an angle and joining the pipe ends, often 90° and 45 °, and joining them by welding. The bends are 3PE or HDPE coated for corrosion protection requirements.

Outside casing pipe is manufactured from high-density Polyurethane with added antioxidants, UV stabilizers and carbon black. The internal surface of PE pipes is processed with Corona treatment in order to achieve better adhesion with PUR foam.
